Amreitha grew up eating midwestern Kansas food. When we got married, she learned how to make my dad’s famous chicken curry.
Every March I do a 30 day challenge. This year, right before our 10 year anniversary, I’m going to write 30 things I like about my wife Amreitha.
Using a bunch of royalty free stock footage and music + a fiverr voice over artist, I created an intro for my podcast. The emphasis is definitely on audio, but I wanted to create a retro future vibe for the youtube vodcast intro as well.
I downloaded a hacked patch to give my D7000 a clean HDMI output. Then, I linked an ipad to computer to make a zoom call.
Since I’m doing interviews for the podcast and we’re living in a pandemic, I’m going to record zoom conversations with people. This also helps me interact with people all over the world.
Microphone, interphase, stands, and software.
I need to make decision on what to purchase for this.
Where am I going to host this podcast?
Anchor? Squarespace? Buzzsprout? Captivate? Podbean? Soundcloud? Simplecast?
I need ideas! What could my gimmick be?
So that my podcast remains interesting to me and is separated from the pack, I want to incorporate some sort of a “gimmick” into it (maybe).
After hearing from you all, I’m going to stick with recording once a month. It just works better with my schedule, but I’m going to shoot for hour long interviews. With all the effort it takes to book a guest, I don’t want to be cut off at 30 minutes.
I have a lot of titles for my podcast. I’ve bounced many ideas off of my friends in private—literally hundreds!
Thank you friends for the patience and kindness to act interested in all of them!
How long will each episode last and when will I upload new episodes?
I’d really like your feedback on this!
As of now, I’m deciding between two formats for the podcast:
One on One Interview with occasional solo episodes
A Group of People interviewing people with occasional solo episodes
This is the working description for the podcast:
My name is Pradeepan Jeeva and I’m a brown pastor in Seattle learning to navigate the tension between future technology and timeless theology. Help me learn by feeding me questions to interview experts with.
This year, I’m starting a podcast! I like talking about technology, futurology, crytptocurrency, leadership and theology. I want to create a podcast as an excuse to talk to experts in these fields.
Well, the 2020 Blogrimage is over! Coronavirus took over my mental bandwidth these last two weeks. I’m a pastor and I’ve had to work with my team to essentially relaunch Kalos Church as an Online Church. So, I have done minimal work on my rap song.
Sorry for the lack of updates. Between my daughter turning one, and changing our entire church service to be online (I’m a pastor) due to Coronavirus, I haven’t had a lot of time to blog
Andrew Jennings helped me record the vocals for my song! He setup a home studio with amazing equipment and even provided his Blogrimage drawing for inspiration.
My hope for this song is that it helps parents who are dealing with frustrations of Autism.
I was taught that the key to good writing is re-writing. I was also taught to “write drunk and edit sober.”
Several things I like about Amreitha.
